Acidic water is defined as water with a pH below 7.0; low pH water below 6.5 is considered acidic and corrosive. pH is the measurement used to determine whether water is acidic, neutral, or basic, so understanding the severity of acidity is important before selecting a treatment system and maintaining the right balance between acidic and alkaline water conditions.
