Birm/Filter AG Plus is a granular media iron filter system designed to reduce dissolved iron and manganese from raw water supplies. This Aqua Science AIO system uses natural oxidation for iron removal without chemicals, aerators, or air compressors. The package includes an Aqua Science digital control valve, 12" x 52" fiberglass mineral tank, 1" by-pass, 1.5 cu. ft. of Birm, 0.5 cu. ft. of Filter AG Plus, one sleeve of gravel, 1.05" riser tube, funnel, and cap.

Place the 12" x 52" fiberglass mineral tank and assemble the included riser tube, funnel, cap, gravel, Birm, and Filter AG Plus as supplied with the system.
Connect the Aqua Science digital control valve and the included 1" by-pass to the system.
Complete startup and backwash the media to clean and prepare the bed for service.
