The Pentek CC-10 coconut shell carbon cartridge is a closeout filter cartridge for general purpose drinking water filtration. It uses coconut shell-based activated carbon to reduce chlorine taste and odor, certain VOCs, and MTBE, while a full-length carbon bed, internal expansion pad, and permanently fastened post-filter help minimize channeling, bypass, carbon fines, and suspended particles.

Installation Brief

The Pentek CC-10 cartridge installs into a compatible filter housing as a replacement drinking water filtration cartridge.

Turn off the water supply to the filter housing before servicing the cartridge.
Open the housing and remove the used cartridge.
Insert the Pentek CC-10 cartridge into the housing in the proper position.
Reassemble the housing securely.
Restore the water supply and check the housing for leaks.
