Overview

Jacobi Catalytic Carbon Filter System with Aqua Science Digital Control Valve is designed to help reduce taste, odor, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, and chloramines in potable water. This system includes 1 cu. ft. of Jacobi CX-MCA catalytic carbon, a 1" by-pass, gravel, funnel and cap, and a 1" FPT barb and 90 elbow. The catalytic carbon is manufactured from select coconut shell charcoal and features high activity, large micropore volume, superior mechanical hardness, and extensive dedusting for a clean activated carbon product.

Installation Tips

Installation Brief

This filter system is supplied with the control valve, carbon media, gravel, bypass, and connection components for setup.

Confirm the system components are present, including the Aqua Science Digital Control Valve, 1" by-pass, carbon media, gravel, funnel and cap, and the 1" FPT barb and 90 elbow.
Place and connect the system to the water line using the included connection components as applicable to the installation.
Set up the digital control valve and complete system assembly according to the supplied product components.
After installation, restore water flow and check all connections for leaks.
