The Grundfos 22SQ10-190-230V is a 3 inch stainless steel submersible well pump rated for 22 GPM, 1 HP, and 230V single-phase power. Its 2-wire design simplifies installation, and no control box is required.
The SQ motor uses permanent-magnet technology for high efficiency across a wide load range and includes soft start for smoother acceleration. Floating impellers with tungsten carbide/ceramic bearings provide wear resistance in sandy conditions, while built-in protection features help guard against overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, overtemperature, and upthrust during startup.
This Grundfos SQ submersible well pump is designed for 230V single-phase service and a 2-wire installation.
Confirm the well is suitable for a 3 inch submersible pump.
Install the pump according to the manufacturer literature for this model.
Connect the pump to the specified 230V single-phase power supply.
If the well has a high static water level, use a Dole flow restriction valve to keep flow within the recommended operating range and help prevent upthrust damage.
After startup, verify the pump is operating within its recommended range.
