Important Information
Important: Any well with a high static water level may allow the pump to operate off the curve and outside its recommended range. We recommend using a "Dole" flow restriction valve to throttle the pump to prevent upthrust damage to the pump and motor. The maximum flow must be restricted to within the pumps recommended operating range.
Goulds 25GS15412CL is a 4 inch stainless steel submersible well pump rated for 25 GPM, 1.5 HP, 230V, and 3-wire operation. It is built for continuous operation and features a sand handling floating impeller stack, cast 303 stainless steel components, a polished stainless steel casing, and a built-in check valve for quiet operation.
Installation of this 4 inch submersible well pump should follow the Goulds instruction manual and applicable local codes.
Verify the pump model, voltage, horsepower, wire configuration, and well application before installation.
Complete the required pump, motor, and electrical connections in accordance with the product manual.
Use the cast-in safety line loops on the discharge head if a safety line is included in the installation.
If the well has a high static water level, restrict maximum flow to the recommended operating range using a Dole flow restriction valve as noted in the product information.
Start the system and confirm normal pump operation after installation.
