Installation Brief

This Centaur Carbon Filter System includes the main tank, manual backwash valve with yoke, bypass, media, riser tube, funnel, and cap for system assembly.

Position the 12 x 52 tank in the intended installation area.
Install the 1.05 inch riser tube in the tank and use the funnel to add the gravel and 2 cu. ft. of Centaur Carbon.
Attach the manual backwash valve with yoke to the tank.
Connect the 1 inch stainless steel by-pass and complete the system connections.
Check that all components are properly assembled before placing the system into service.
