SymCom’s Model 231-Insider-P single-phase PumpSaver®Plus fits inside ¹⁄з, ½, ¾, and 1hp 230V control boxes and is designed to protect single-phase pumps from dry-well, dead-head, jammed impeller, rapid-cycle, overvoltage, and undervoltage conditions.

Overview

The SymCom 231 Insider PumpSaver Plus is a single-phase pump protection device designed to fit inside 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 hp 230V control boxes. It helps protect single-phase pumps from dry-well, dead-head, jammed impeller, rapid-cycle, overvoltage, and undervoltage conditions.

A calibration adjustment allows setup for specific pumping applications to help reduce nuisance tripping. Its microcontroller-based voltage and current-sensing algorithm continuously monitors incoming power, and when an abnormal condition is detected, the unit deactivates its output relay and begins a user-selectable restart delay timer. The included IR Kit-12 supports parameter access with the Informer diagnostics tool, sold separately, even when the unit is enclosed in a control box.
