Jacobi AquaSorb CX-MCA is a 12 x 40 catalytic, high activity granular activated carbon made from steam-activated select coconut shell charcoal. Its catalytic activity makes it highly effective for removal of chloramines and hydrogen sulfide from potable water. The large micropore volume also supports removal of low molecular weight organic compounds and chlorinated by-products such as chloroform and other trihalomethanes, while superior hardness and extensive dedusting help provide a clean carbon media.
