Installation Tips

Installation Brief

The Goulds AV22KIT is installed as part of a horizontal deep well dual-pipe jet pump system to relocate pressure sensing to the outboard side of the valve.

  1. Remove the existing straight or elbow compression fitting from the pump casing.
  2. Use the supplied pipe plug to plug the opening in the pump casing.
  3. Remove the fitting from the pressure switch and cut the old tubing in half.
  4. Slide the compression fittings off the old tubing and reuse the elbow compression fitting with the new tubing at the pressure switch.
  5. Screw the new straight connector into the AV22 and attach the tubing from the pressure switch to the AV22.
