*Additional treatment may be required.  Tannin removal may be difficult to achieve where the residence has a shallow well and is close to surface water – lakes, ponds, swamps, etc.

Ecomix Media. Removes:

Hardness up to 45 gpg (750 ppm CaCO3)

Iron like ferrous, organic, and colloidal. Influent iron concentration must not exceed 15 ppm.

Tannins and other natural organic compounds. Maximum allowed influent tannin concentration is 5 ppm.
