Boshart Industries pressure switch PS02-4060 is a pump pressure switch for well-water systems that helps maintain consistent
water pressure by controlling when the well pump turns on and off in a 40/60 setup. In this setting, 40 psi
is the cut-in pressure where the pump turns on after pressure drops, and 60 psi is the cut-out pressure where
the pump turns off once the pressure tank reaches the set level, letting the switch start and stop the pump at
set pressure points depending on system settings, all without requiring a control box.
It is a good replacement when the problem is unreliable pump control or pressure cycling.
This pressure switch is installed as part of a well system pressure control setup. Follow the manufacturer instructions and confirm compatibility with your system before installation.
Turn off power to the pump system before starting work.
If replacing an existing switch, remove the old pressure switch.
Install the PS02-4060 pressure switch in the system according to the manufacturer instructions.
Complete the required electrical connections as directed by the manufacturer.
Restore power and test the system for proper operation at the 40/60 PSI setting.
