It features high strength steel construction, a seamless heavy-duty butyl diaphragm, polypropylene liner, stainless steel system connection, and a 150 psig pressure rating; the bladder design keeps air and water separated, while the diaphragm reduces air-water contact to help reduce maintenance as well as corrosion. This design minimizes cycling, supports pressure stability, and reduces wear on the pump.
This inline model needs no floor space, and can be conveniently installed in closets, under sinks, and tight locations. Bladder style tanks, a diaphragm/bladder tank type, maintain 100% separation between air and water for efficient, virtually maintenance-free performance, unlike older air-over-water tanks, and are built to work in conjunction with the pressure switch.
