Filtersorb SP3 Scale Prevention Media is a 1 liter media product that uses Nucleation Assisted Crystallization (NAC) technology. It transforms calcium and magnesium hardness into non-soluble micro-crystals and does not add sodium to the water like conventional softeners.
This media is positioned as an alternative to conventional sodium-based softeners, ion-exchange resins, and other chemicals while maintaining essential minerals in the water. Recommended fill amounts listed by tank size are 3 liters for 8" x 44", 4 liters for 9" x 48", 5 liters for 10" x 54", and 7.5 liters for 12" x 52" tanks.
