1. Coverage

This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Coverage includes:

• Structural failures
• Manufacturing defects
• Component malfunctions under normal use

2. Products Included

Only items labeled with "Lifetime Warranty" on their product page qualify. Before purchase, confirm the designation on the product listing.

3. Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
• Accidental damage (spills, impacts, natural disasters)
• Cosmetic blemishes that do not affect function
• Loss, theft, or alteration
• Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages

4. How to File a Claim

• Step 1: Email info@aquascience.net or call (800) 767‑8731.
• Step 2: Provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
• Step 3: Obtain an RMA authorization from our Customer Service team.
• Step 4: In most cases we will ask you to send us a couple of pictures of the product for evaluation.
• Step 5: We evaluate and then replace or issue store credit within 7–10 business days.

5. Limitations of Liability

The sole remedy under this warranty is product repair, replacement, or store credit. AquaScience.net is not liable for special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

6. Governing Law & Your Rights

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without respect to conflict‑of‑law principles. You may have additional rights under your state or country’s consumer protection laws.

7. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this Lifetime Warranty at any time. Updates apply only to purchases made after the date of change.
